Newest & Hottest Hotels Coming to Las Vegas

Hospitality in Las Vegas is undergoing tremendous revitalization on and off The Strip. Our area continues to thrive during the post-pandemic tourism boom. July set a record for the third-highest number of passengers traveling through Harry Reid Airport.
With the influx of travelers, new luxury destinations will bring exquisite hotel accommodations, dining experiences, gaming, and entertainment. Here are a few glimpses into the latest offerings and visions for the world's iconic city.
Over the past few years, several resorts and casinos opened, including Downtown's Circa Resort and Casino, Resorts World mega-complex on the North Strip, and The English Hotel in the Arts District. Virgin Hotels Las Vegas opened east of The Strip two years ago, taking over the former Hard Rock Hotel & Casino location. Since taking ownership, the company remodeled the property, revamped the pool complex, and replaced the giant guitar with a "V."
Station Casinos plans to open its new locals Durango Casino & Resort on November 20 – the first sizeable boutique-styled hotel/casino in the Southwest Valley. The anticipated 200-room hotel boasts convention spaces, a pool, and free parking. Its 15 enticing restaurants include The George Sportsmen's Lounge and the 24,000 square-foot Eat Your Heart Out food hall, which introduces 11 different food options from Las Vegas and beyond.
The 67-story Fontainebleau Las Vegas, set to open in December, will forever transform the North Strip. Upon opening, the resort will become the tallest occupied building in the valley at 753 feet. The 3,700-room resort/casino plans to feature 27 food and beverage venues, an eight-acre pool, and a 150,000-square-foot casino floor with luxurious shopping.
Projected to open in 2025, the Majestic will be the first-of-its-kind non-gaming, non-smoking ultra-luxury resort. The contemporary 720-suite five-star resort plans six restaurants and a medical wellness spa and fitness center directly across from the convention center. The adjacent Majestic Plaza offers seven restaurants and live entertainment.
The 19-story Nuance Las Vegas is expected to break ground early next year within walking distance of Allegiant Stadium. The planned 340-room boutique hotel will include a day spa, convention hall, restaurant, and rooftop bar. As with the Majestic, it will be a non-gaming, non-smoking property.
An extensive renovation at The Mirage begins next year. Acquired by Hard Rock International, it plans to gut the existing site and reconfigure it into 3,700 rooms and suites, a 174,000 square-foot casino floor, additional convention space, 21 restaurants, and a Hard Rock Live entertainment space. Hard Rock's new venture includes plans to demolish the iconic Mirage volcano, transforming that space into a 600-foot-tall guitar-shaped hotel tower. The entire project may take up to 30 months to complete.
No official date has been released, but Las Vegas is one of several locations planned for the Atari Hotel. The video game-themed lodging destination intends to offer fully immersive experiences for all ages and gaming abilities, including the latest in virtual and augmented reality.
And if the rumors are true, 25 acres at the Boulevard and Blue Diamond may be on its way to becoming a new resort, complete with an NBA arena adjacent to the planned high-speed rail station.
